General Summary
Executive Benefits are corporate sponsored plans that enhance that businesses culture and strategic objectives of businesses and their executives by creating and preserving wealth.
Through a consultative selling process, we identify existing needs that we can fulfill, or review current plans that do not adequately provide benefits/services to the executives or the sponsoring entity. We prosecute this process through a team of seasoned sales professionals, client advisors, sales support analysts and client administrators.
This position provides support to the sales team, client advisors and client administrators regarding plan and funding analysis, product information , illustrations, quotes, tools, materials, and data to successfully support new business, inforce , renewal & plan reviews. .
Essential Job Functions
- Analyzes current market products (Supplentalt Disability and Life Insurance, (Term, and GVUL) Registered and Private Placement COLI/BOLI, Institutional Annuities, and evaluates the latest market and carrier products to develop new proposals.
- Gathers, analyzes, and compares market data and pricing.
- Establish and maintains product study of market/product intelligence and uses spreadsheet to analyze and present results.
- Prepares proposals and or financial models including tables, charts and graphs, and presents recommendations to sales team/client.
- Creates and maintains financial modeling spreadsheets to analyze plan and funding alternatives with demonstrable understanding of Cash Flow, P&L, Accounting and Tax.
- Evaluates existing plan documents, operating records, existing funding and write summary report of findings, options and recommendations..
- Collaborate with Sales Professionals and Client Advisors regarding plan design, funding alternatives and most appropriate approach.
- Analyze complex financial transactions and prepares recommendations for bids, proposals, policy procedure, control or action.
- Produce life insurance illustrations with the carrier provided software.
- Develops and maintains relationships with carriers and MEB colleagues.
- Facilitate the transition of pre sale or inforce illustration data to client services during implementation of new services or inforce servicing deliverables.
- Provide support when needed to other teams within the company.
Skills and Level of Skills
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or university.
- Strong knowledge of Non Qualified Executive Benefit Plans
- Series 6 and 63; Life & Health Licenses
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience
- Six to ten years of related experience and/or training with Disabiity / COLI Carrier, Executive Benefit broker or consulting firm. .
